In the spring of 2011 opportunity was seen to serve the growing population of Carolina Forest area. Commuting part time from a primary location in Dillon, SC, Jane Fortune, LPC, decided to open a small office over the then "Kangeroo" Convenience Center, in an office at the corner of Carolina Forest Blvd and River Oaks Blvd.  The interest and committment of the area grew in the opportunity to find therapy close to home.  Jane Fortune closed the Dillon office and became full time in the Carolina Forest Office.  The goal now is, with the creation of Carolina Forest Counseling, to provide services to meet the needs of the expanding population of those who call Carolina Forest Home, as well as, surrounding areas such as Conway, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

Therapy is a private and personal experience.  Our goal, as we work with children, adolescents and adults is to provide a confidential, nurturing environment.   

Time needed for therapy will vary with each and every individual, couple, or family.  The ultimate goal will be to assist you in learning skills to better manage your life.
